How Homify works
Homify is built around one idea: hiring for your home should be as safe as shopping online. Your money is held and only released when the work is done right.
For homeowners
1. Compare local pros. Browse cleaning, landscaping, and handyman pros in your area. Identity, license, and insurance badges show only when that credential has been reviewed and approved.
2. Book and fund your protected payment. Accept a quote or book a listed time. You pay up front, but the money is held safely by Stripe, not handed to the pro.
3. The work gets done. Any change to the scope needs your approval before it costs a dollar. The pro adds before and after photos when finished.
4. You confirm, then payment releases.You have a 72 hour window to review. Confirm and the pro is paid; flag an issue and your payment is held while it's resolved. If you do nothing, it releases automatically after 72 hours.
For pros
Do the work, get paid automatically. No lead fees and no chasing checks. The money is already protected before you start, so you know you'll be paid. A flat platform fee applies only when you get paid, and payouts land in your bank through Stripe.
Why payment protection
Lead-generation sites sell your contact info and walk away. Homify sits at the booking layer: the homeowner's payment is protected until the job is confirmed, and the pro is guaranteed the funds are there. Both sides are protected.
